This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
CD31 (platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1, PECAM-1) is an inhibitory coreceptor involved in regulation of T and B cell signaling via immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIM). Upon phosphorylation, these motifs provide docking sites for protein-tyrosine phosphatases.
CD31 is widely expressed within the vascular compartment, mainly at junctions between adjacent cells. Its N-terminal Ig-like domain mediates homophilic binding, crucial for cell-cell interactions.
Functions include:
- Modulation of integrin-mediated adhesion
- Transendothelial migration
- Angiogenesis and apoptosis
- Negative regulation of immunoreceptor signaling
- Roles in autoimmunity, macrophage phagocytosis, IgE-mediated anaphylaxis, and thrombosis
