This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human PHPT1.
Target Information
The PHPT1 protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, known for regulating various cellular processes such as cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
It contains a C-terminal PTP domain and an N-terminal domain homologous to the band 4.1 superfamily of cytoskeletal-associated proteins.
P97, a cell cycle regulator involved in membrane-related functions, is a substrate of this PTP.
PHPT1 also interacts with and is regulated by adaptor protein 14-3-3 beta.
Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
