Target Information
IRS-1 (Insulin Receptor Substrate 1)는 인슐린 수용체의 주요 기질로, 인슐린, IGF-1, IL-4 자극에 반응하여 인산화됩니다.
IRS-1은 다양한 조직에서 세린, 트레오닌, 티로신 잔기에 인산화되며, casein kinase II가 인슐린 자극에 의해 매개되는 세린/트레오닌 인산화의 일부를 담당합니다.
Thr 502는 주요 casein kinase II 인산화 부위로 확인되었으며, Ser 99 역시 추가적인 인산화 부위입니다.
IRS-1은 14-3-3 단백질 결합 부위를 3개(Ser 270, Ser 374, Ser 641) 가지며, Ser 270 주변 모티프는 인슐린 수용체와의 상호작용에 중요한 phosphotyrosine binding domain에 위치합니다.
