MA5-17110 targets LMO2 in FACS, pep-ELISA, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The immunogen is a purified recombinant fragment of human LMO2 (amino acids 1–158) expressed in E. coli.
This antibody detects LMO2, which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 18.4 kDa.


Target Information

LMO2 encodes a cysteine-rich, two LIM-domain protein that is required for yolk sac erythropoiesis.
The LMO2 protein plays a central and crucial role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved.
The transcription start site is located approximately 25 kb downstream from the 11p13 T-cell translocation cluster (11p13 ttc), where several T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia-specific translocations occur.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
