This antibody was formerly sold as clone S151-3.
2 µg/mL of MA5-27697 was sufficient for detection of Delta1 GABA-A receptor in 10 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 55 kDa.
Target Information
GABA, the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the vertebrate brain, mediates neuronal inhibition by binding to the GABA/benzodiazepine receptor and opening an integral chloride channel.
