- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse 4-1BB, recombinant human NGF R, TNF RI, and TNF RII.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
CD137 (also known as TNFRSF9 or 4-1BB) is an inducible costimulatory molecule expressed mainly on activated T cells. Its ligand (4-1BBL) is expressed on activated macrophages, mature B cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and myeloid progenitor cells.
CD137 signaling maintains the survival of activated and CD8+ memory T cells, promotes clonal expansion, and modulates myelopoiesis and dendritic cell development. Triggered CD137 induces cytokine release regulating peripheral monocyte survival. Soluble forms of CD137 may act as negative regulators of immune responses.
