Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
GNG7 is a guanine nucleotide-binding (G) protein involved in transmembrane signaling systems. The beta and gamma chains are essential for GTPase activity, GDP-GTP exchange, and G protein-effector interactions.
It plays a role in regulating adenylyl cyclase signaling in specific brain regions and contributes to the formation or stabilization of a G protein heterotrimer (G(olf) subunit alpha-beta-gamma-7) required for adenylyl cyclase activity in the striatum.
