Target Information
IL4 Receptor alpha (IL4RA) is the alpha chain of the interleukin-4 receptor that binds IL4 and IL13, regulating IgE production and allergic inflammation responses. The soluble form (sIL4Rα) can inhibit IL4-mediated cell proliferation and IL5 upregulation by T-cells. Allelic variations in IL4RA are associated with atopy, including allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, and eczema.
