Product Specific Information

The eBioH4B4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD107b, also known as lysosomal-associated membrane protein-2 (LAMP-2).
CD107b is a highly glycosylated, type I transmembrane protein (~105 kDa), expressed in lysosomal/endosomal membranes of nearly all cells. It is also found on the surface of degranulating T cells, activated platelets, and some cancer cells.
Mutations in CD107b cause Danon disease, a lysosomal glycogen storage disorder.

Applications Reported:
Used for intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested using Jurkat cells and the Intracellular Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set (Product # 88-8824-00).
Refer to BestProtocols®: Protocol A for intracellular proteins.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test, typically 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
