Product Specific Information
The SN6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD105 (Endoglin), a ~90 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer expressed by vascular endothelial cells, certain bone marrow cells, and activated macrophages. CD105 is involved in adhesion and embryonic angiogenesis.

Target Information
CD105 (Endoglin) is a Type I transmembrane protein highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It forms an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Upregulation of endoglin has been observed in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, marking it as a proliferation-associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds to TGF-β1 and TGF-β3 with high affinity but not to TGF-β2.
