Product Specific Information

• Concentration may vary slightly by lot; refer to lot-specific datasheet.
• Validated for Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
• Specificity: Reacts with heavy chain on human IgG and light chains common to most human immunoglobulins.
• Minimal cross-reactivity with bovine, horse, and mouse serum proteins.
• Fluorophore: FITC-isomer 1 (Amax = 492 nm; Emax = 520 nm).
• Fluorophore/Protein ratio: 7.8 µg/mg; 2.9 moles FITC per mole IgG.

Restoration and Storage:

• Store at 2–8°C until opened.
• Restore with 1.1 mL distilled water (1.5 mg/mL after restoration).
• If not clear after 1–2 hours at room temperature, centrifuge.
• Store as undiluted liquid at 2–8°C for several weeks.
• After dilution, use within one day.
• For extended storage, add equal volume of glycerol (final 50%) and store at −20°C.

Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and highly specific for human immunoglobulins.
They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins, offering increased versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification.
Secondary antibodies are typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
