This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
S100A9 (MRP-14) is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. These proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of various cells and are involved in regulating cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation.
The S100 gene family includes at least 13 members clustered on chromosome 1q21.
S100A9 may function in inhibiting casein kinase, and altered expression is associated with cystic fibrosis.
