This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to prevent contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information
The S100P gene encodes a member of the S100 family of proteins containing two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of various cells and are involved in regulating cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation.
S100 genes include at least 13 members clustered on chromosome 1q21; however, S100P is located on chromosome 4p16. This protein binds Ca²⁺, Zn²⁺, and Mg²⁺, and may play a role in the etiology of prostate cancer.
