Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) is a key protein in plasma lipid metabolism and a component of various lipoprotein particles. It is synthesized in the liver, brain, spleen, and kidney, and is abundant in interstitial fluids where it mediates cholesterol transport between cells. ApoE is also essential for the formation of very low-density lipoproteins (VLDL) and chylomicrons.
The APOE gene is located on chromosome 19q13.2.
