Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene is involved in the organization and stabilization of stereocilia elongation and actin cytoskeletal assembly, based on studies of the related mouse gene. Mutations are associated with autosomal recessive non-syndromic deafness and Usher Syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
