HLA-A는 HLA class I heavy chain paralogue로, heavy chain과 beta-2 microglobulin으로 구성된 이합체입니다. Heavy chain은 막에 고정되어 있으며, class I 분자는 세포 내 대부분에서 발현되어 면역 시스템에서 핵심적인 역할을 수행합니다.
이 분자는 소포체 내강에서 유래한 펩타이드를 제시하며, bone marrow 및 kidney transplantation 시 다형성 타이핑에 사용됩니다.
HLA와 MHC 항체는 Immunopeptidomics 연구에서 neoantigen 식별 및 특성화에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
