Amino Acid Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human SDF-1beta (CXCL12). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using an immobilized Human SDF-1beta (CXCL12) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human SDF-1beta (CXCL12) by sandwich ELISA, use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human SDF-1beta (CXCL12) (500-P87BGBt) as the detection antibody. This combination allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant antigen.

Western Blot:
For Western blot detection of Human SDF-1beta, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Human SDF-1beta is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CXCL12 is a stromal cell-derived alpha chemokine belonging to the intercrine family. Together with its receptor CXCR4, it can activate lymphocytes and is implicated in cancer metastasis, including breast cancer. Mutations in CXCL12 are associated with resistance to HIV-1 infection. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
