Target Information
N-cadherin은 칼슘 의존적 세포 간 접착을 매개하는 140 kDa 막단백질로, 발달 과정에서 형태형성 움직임을 조절하고 동일한 카드헤린 종류 간의 동종 접착을 통해 세포 표면 부착을 조절합니다.
이 단백질은 actin-cytoskeleton과의 상호작용을 통해 기능하며, β-catenin의 인산화 상태에 따라 안정성이 조절됩니다. 또한, N-cadherin은 5개의 세포외 cadherin 반복, 막관통 영역, 보존된 세포질 꼬리를 포함하는 당단백질로서 gastrulation 동안 기능하며 좌우 비대칭성 확립에 필요합니다.
