Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) before use.


Target Information

FBJ murine osteosarcoma viral oncogene homolog, commonly known as Cellular proto-oncogene Fos (c-Fos), belongs to the Fos transcription factor family and is encoded by the C-FOS gene on chromosome 14.
c-Fos heterodimerizes with c-Jun to form the Activator Protein-1 (AP-1) transcription factor, which regulates transcription of genes involved in cellular signal transduction, proliferation, and differentiation.
It is phosphorylated by multiple stimuli, including growth factors and insulin, at several sites. The ERK MAPK kinase phosphorylates threonine 232, influencing nuclear localization and transcriptional activity of c-Fos.
