Target Information
Arginase-1 (Arg1)는 L-아르지닌을 요소와 L-오르니틴으로 전환하는 35 kDa 효소로, 요소 회로의 마지막 단계에 관여합니다. 생성된 폴리아민은 세포 증식과 단백질 분해로 인한 독소 제거에 중요합니다.
Arginase 1은 아르기닌을 분해함으로써 NO 합성효소의 기질을 고갈시켜 일산화질소 생성을 억제합니다.
인간과 마우스 모두에서 간, 호중구, 골수유래 억제세포(MDSC), 신경 줄기세포 등에 발현됩니다.
인간에서는 혈액 내 호중구에서 발현되지만 CCR3+ 과립구에서는 발현되지 않는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
마우스에서는 대체적으로 활성화된 대식세포(M2a)의 대표적 표지자로 알려져 있습니다.
Arginase-1은 종양 침윤성 골수세포에서 발현될 수 있으며, 대부분의 간세포암(HCC)에서 관찰됩니다.
Arginase 1 결함은 고암모니아혈증을 특징으로 하는 상염색체 열성 질환인 아르지닌혈증(argininemia)의 원인입니다.
