- In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Serpin A1, Serpin A5, and recombinant human Serpin A4 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes an alpha-globulin protein with corticosteroid-binding properties. It is the major transport protein for glucocorticoids and progestins in the blood of most vertebrates. The gene localizes to a chromosomal region containing several closely related serine protease inhibitors, which may have evolved by duplication events.
