Product Specific Information
This antibody detects human, mouse, and rat Neurolysin in Western blots and human Neurolysin in direct ELISAs.
In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Meprin alpha, Meprin beta subunit, and THOP1 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS before use.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the metallopeptidase M3 protein family that cleaves neurotensin at the Pro10–Tyr11 bond, forming neurotensin(1–10) and neurotensin(11–13).
The encoded protein is involved in terminating the neurotensinergic signal in the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract.
