Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of lymphocyte surface proteins.
It is absent in non-hematopoietic cells and tissues. CD45 plays a crucial role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and JAK kinases.
Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. CD45 is essential for T- and B-cell receptor signaling and modulates integrin-mediated pathways, apoptosis, and immune functions.
