Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PIP4K2A (phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase, type II, alpha) is a lipid kinase that catalyzes phosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate to form phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate.
It plays an essential role in phosphoinositide signal transduction, regulating secretion, cell proliferation, differentiation, and motility.
PIP4K2A is implicated in beta-globin gene expression regulation and Hb H levels in alpha-thalassemic patients.
Associated diseases include B-Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma With Hyperdiploidy and Bipolar Disorder.
