Purification Process Overview

The Norgen water purification system, developed with Millipore Sigma experts, uses a two-stage process:

1. Stage 1: Pre-treatment with activated charcoal and polyphosphate, followed by reverse osmosis, electro-deionization, and ion exchange to produce Type II water. UV treatment ensures disinfection.
2. Stage 2: In a clean-room environment, water passes through additional ion exchange, ultrafiltration, and UV treatment (182 nm) to remove particulates, bacteria, and ionic contaminants.
3. Final Output: Pyrogen-, nuclease-, and bacteria-free water at 18.2 MΩ purity, suitable for direct use in molecular biology and cell culture applications.
