For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve an antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The protein encoded by the PTPRE gene belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which regulates various cellular processes such as cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants exist:

• One encodes a receptor-type PTP with a short extracellular domain, a single transmembrane region, and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains.
• The other encodes a nonreceptor-type isoform with a distinct hydrophilic N-terminus.

Studies in mice suggest PTPRE plays regulatory roles in RAS-related signal transduction, cytokine-induced STAT signaling, and activation of voltage-gated K⁺ channels.
