Target Information
EPS15 is a ubiquitously expressed protein involved in cell growth regulation and mitogenic signal control. Phosphorylation of EPS15 on Tyrosine 849 upon DNA damage mediates EGFR internalization. Chromosomal aberrations involving EPS15 are associated with certain acute leukemias, leading to abnormal activator protein formation.
