Target Information
IdU (Idoxuridine)는 핵산 유사체로, deoxyuridine의 변형 형태입니다. 바이러스 DNA 복제 과정에 통합될 수 있으나, uracil의 요오드 치환으로 인해 염기쌍 형성이 차단됩니다.
심장독성으로 인해 국소적으로만 사용되며, 1950년대 후반 William Prusoff에 의해 합성되었습니다.
