Target Information
Bromodeoxyuridine (5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine, BrdU)는 티미딘의 유사체로 합성된 뉴클레오사이드입니다.
BrdU는 세포 증식 탐지를 위해 사용되며, DNA 복제 중 S기 동안 새로 합성되는 DNA에 포함됩니다.
BrdU 특이 항체를 통해 DNA에 삽입된 BrdU를 검출함으로써 DNA를 복제 중인 세포를 식별할 수 있습니다.
항체 결합을 위해서는 일반적으로 산 또는 열 처리에 의해 DNA 변성이 필요합니다.
