Product Specific Information

In Western blot applications, this antibody detects a band at approximately 40 kDa, representing the pro-enzyme of DNase II.
A suggested positive control is human spleen tissue lysate.
PA5-19902 can be used with blocking peptide PEP-0028.

Target Information

DAPK3 (ZIPK) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in cell motility, smooth muscle contractility, and cell death processes.
It is a component of desmosomes and the epidermal cornified envelope in keratinocytes.
The N-terminal domain interacts with the plasma membrane, while the C-terminus associates with intermediate filaments.
Through its rod domain, this protein forms complexes with envoplakin, linking the cornified envelope, desmosomes, and intermediate filaments.
AKT1/PKB, a kinase involved in cell growth and survival signaling, interacts with DAPK3, suggesting a role in AKT1-mediated signaling localization.
