This antibody detects endogenous levels of FGFR1/2/3/4 only when phosphorylated at Tyr653 and Tyr654.
Target Information
The FGFR (fibroblast growth factor receptor) family encodes proteins with highly conserved amino acid sequences across species. Members differ in ligand affinity and tissue distribution. Each receptor includes:
- Extracellular region with three immunoglobulin-like domains
- Single transmembrane region
- Cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain
FGFRs bind acidic and basic fibroblast growth factors, initiating downstream signaling cascades that regulate mitogenesis and differentiation. This family is also involved in limb induction.
