Target Information
Signal-induced proliferation associated-like protein 2 (SIPA1L2) is a member of the SIPA1 family of RapGAPs. Although the role of SIPA1L2 is not fully understood, deregulation of related SIPA proteins has been linked to myeloproliferative disorders and cancer metastasis. SIPA1L2 is believed to play roles in embryonic development and cell proliferation, possibly including oncogenesis.
