Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The HTATSF1 protein functions as a cofactor for the stimulation of transcriptional elongation by HIV-1 Tat, binding to the HIV-1 promoter through the Tat-TAR interaction. It may also act as a dual-function factor coupling transcription and splicing, facilitating reciprocal activation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene.
