The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Pre-mRNA splicing occurs in two sequential transesterification steps. The protein encoded by this gene is a component of both U2- and U12-dependent spliceosomes and is essential for the catalytic step II in the pre-mRNA splicing process. It contains several WD repeats that function in protein-protein interactions. This protein shows sequence similarity to yeast Prp8 protein and is a candidate gene for autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa.
