Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The Stabilin 2 gene encodes a large transmembrane receptor protein involved in angiogenesis, lymphocyte homing, cell adhesion, and receptor scavenging.
It contains multiple fasciclin, EGF-like, and laminin-type domains, as well as a C-type lectin-like hyaluronan-binding Link module.
Stabilin 2 is mainly expressed in sinusoidal endothelial cells of liver, spleen, and lymph node.
It binds and endocytoses ligands such as hyaluronan, low-density lipoprotein, bacteria, and advanced glycosylation end products, supporting its role as a scavenger receptor cycling between plasma membrane and lysosomes.
