Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PIM2 is a proto-oncogene encoding a serine/threonine kinase that phosphorylates BAD, partially inhibiting its apoptotic function. PIM family proteins (PIM-1, PIM-2, PIM-3) are oncogene-encoded kinases with similar functions.
PIM2 is highly expressed in hematopoietic tissues such as spleen, thymus, and peripheral blood leukocytes, and also in testis, small intestine, and colon. Its expression is negatively regulated by growth factor depletion, and elevated levels are observed in certain cancers.
