Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Glucocorticoid Receptor (NR3C1) is a receptor for glucocorticoids that functions as a transcription factor and regulator of other transcription factors.
It is typically cytoplasmic until ligand binding induces nuclear transport.
Expressed in various cardiac tissues including atria, ventricles, aorta, and septum.
Alternative splicing and promoter usage generate multiple transcript variants and isoforms.
Mutations in NR3C1 cause glucocorticoid resistance.
GR activation requires association with chaperone proteins and binds steroids such as dexamethasone with nanomolar affinity.
