Applications Tested:
This antibody has been pre-diluted and tested by intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Recommended use: 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test (defined as staining a sample in 100 µL final volume).

Phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C (PLC) plays a crucial role in receptor-mediated signal transduction, generating second messengers inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate and diacylglycerol.
Mammalian PLC isozymes include PLCβ1–4, PLCγ1–2, PLCδ1–2, and PLCε.
PLCδ1 acts as a calcium signal amplifier and is activated by atypical GTP-binding proteins.
It is an effector for transglutaminase II-mediated oxytocin receptor and α1B-adrenoreceptor signaling.
Mouse PLCδ1 is highly expressed in brain, heart, lung, and testis.
PLCδ accumulation is observed in Alzheimer’s disease brains, suggesting a pathological role.
PLCδ2 expression is linked to intestinal metaplasia and gastric adenocarcinoma, serving as a potential marker of malignant transformation.
