Description:
The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except circulating erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic region has tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays a key role in lymphocyte activation.
Applications Reported:
Reported for use in flow cytometry and immunohistochemical staining.
Applications Tested:
Tested in flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended ≤0.25 µg per test (in 100 µL final volume). Cell number may vary (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize titration for best performance.
Purity: >90% (SDS-PAGE)
Aggregation: <10% (HPLC)

Target Information
CD45 (LCA, Leukocyte Common Antigen):
A receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, constituting ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. Absent in non-hematopoietic tissues.
CD45 is essential for lymphocyte development and antigen receptor signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and cytokine receptor pathways.
Multiple isoforms arise from alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions.
CD45 modulates integrin-mediated signaling, apoptosis, and various immune functions.
