Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining lot-to-lot consistency.

Functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies, they recognize multiple epitope sites on the target and provide higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Target Information

Raf-1 (c-Raf) is a MAP kinase kinase kinase (MAP3K) functioning downstream of Ras family GTPases. Upon activation, Raf-1 phosphorylates MEK1 and MEK2, which subsequently activate ERK1 and ERK2. Activated ERKs regulate gene expression involved in cell division, apoptosis, differentiation, and migration. Mutations in Raf-1 are associated with Noonan syndrome 5 and LEOPARD syndrome 2.
