Target Information
Mesothelin은 중피종, 난소 낭성선암, 췌장 선암 등의 분화 항원으로 처음 규명된 GPI-결합 세포 표면 당단백질입니다. 정상 중피세포에서는 제한적으로 발현되지만, 여러 암종(자궁내막암, 식도·위·폐·자궁경부의 편평세포암 등)에서 과발현이 보고되었습니다.
Mesothelin의 단백질 분해로 생성되는 megakaryocyte potentiating factor (MPF)는 혈소판 생산 조절 및 조혈세포 분화에 관여할 가능성이 있으며, 암 조직에서 높은 수준으로 발현되어 종양 형성과 전이에 기여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
