Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Phospholipase A2 (PLA2) catalyzes the release of fatty acids from glycero-3-phosphocholines. The best-known forms are digestive enzymes secreted as zymogens by the mammalian pancreas. Pancreatic PLA2 enzymes show high homology to snake venom phospholipases. Other PLA2 forms have been identified in brain, liver, lung, spleen, intestine, macrophages, leukocytes, erythrocytes, inflammatory exudates, chondrocytes, and platelets.
