Product Specific Information
This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select the best clones for production.
Advantages include:
- Superior specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
This antibody specifically recognizes Mouse LILRB3.
Target Information
The LILRB3 gene belongs to the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family located at chromosome 19q13.4. The encoded protein is a subfamily B receptor containing two or four extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and multiple immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs).
It is expressed on immune cells, binds to MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells, and transduces inhibitory signals to modulate immune responses. This helps regulate inflammation and cytotoxicity, maintaining immune balance and preventing autoreactivity.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
