이 항체는 인간 Histone H3.2와 반응합니다. BLAST 분석 결과 Human, Mouse, C. elegans와 교차 반응성이 확인되었으며, Rat, Chicken, Xenopus, Drosophila, Plant 등에서도 100% 서열 상동성을 기반으로 반응이 예측됩니다. 다른 종의 Histone H3에 대한 교차 반응성은 확인되지 않았습니다.
Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질에 존재하는 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 다른 코어 히스톤 단백질들과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제, 염색체 안정성 유지에 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
특히 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 다양한 번역 후 변형(post-translational modification)을 받을 수 있으며, 이는 크로마틴 구조 변화나 전사 인자 결합 조절에 영향을 줍니다. 이러한 변형에는 라이신 및 아르기닌의 메틸화, 아세틸화, 세린 또는 트레오닌의 인산화가 포함됩니다.
