This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
This antibody has specificity for Human KEAP1/KEAP-1/INRF2.
Target Information
The KEAP1 gene encodes a protein containing KELCH-like domains and a BTB/POZ domain. Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 interacts with NF-E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) in a redox-sensitive manner. Upon dissociation, Nrf2 translocates to the nucleus, inducing expression of the catalytic subunit of gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been identified.
