Target Information
CDK4/cyclin D3 serine/threonine kinase는 세포주기 G1 단계에서 세포 증식 조절에 관여하는 이합체 단백질 복합체입니다.
CDK4는 cyclin D 계열 단백질과 복합체를 형성하며, p16(cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor-2)에 의해 억제됩니다.
CDK4는 Rb 단백질의 C-말단 영역을 인산화하여 E2F 복합체의 전사 억제를 조절합니다. 또한 CDC37 및 HSP90은 D형 cyclin에 결합하지 않은 CDK4와 선호적으로 결합합니다.
SMAD3는 CDK4 및 CDK2의 주요 생리적 기질이며, CDK4는 Rb 단백질의 Thr826을, CDK6은 Thr821을 인산화합니다.
