Target Information
EIF2α (Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A)는 α, β, γ 세 개의 소단위로 구성된 이형삼합체입니다. 이 인자(EIF2)는 개시 메티오닐-tRNA를 40S 리보솜에 AUG 의존적으로 결합시켜 43S pre-initiation complex를 형성합니다. EIF2α는 스트레스 반응 시 관련 단백질 키나아제에 의해 인산화되며, 인산화된 EIF2α는 EIF2B 활성을 억제하여 구아닌 뉴클레오타이드 교환을 방해합니다.
