Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
DNM1L (DRP1) is a human dynamin-related protein involved in mitochondrial division in mammalian cells. It plays a key role in mitochondrial fission both at steady state and during apoptosis. DRP1 is essential for proper cellular distribution of mitochondria, and in mutant neurons, mitochondria are largely absent from synapses, providing a genetic tool to study mitochondrial function in synaptic processes.
