For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information
DRP1 (Dynamin-related protein 1) is a human protein that contributes to mitochondrial division in mammalian cells.
It plays a key role in mitochondrial fission both at steady state and during apoptosis.
DRP1 is essential for proper mitochondrial distribution; in mutant neurons, mitochondria are largely absent from synapses, providing a genetic tool to study mitochondrial function at synapses.
