Product Specific Information
The mouse IgM is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin. It was generated by immunization with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and is reactive with LPS.
- Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes and human peripheral blood cells. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
- Light Sensitivity: PE-Cyanine7 is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-57) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
- Excitation / Emission / Laser: 488–561 nm / 775 nm / Blue, Green, Yellow-Green Lasers.
Target Information
Mouse IgM is an immunoglobulin M antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the first antibody generated during an immune response and is the largest immunoglobulin in serum. Composed of five heavy and five light chains, it plays a critical role in complement activation and antigen agglutination. Mouse IgM is widely used in ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry.
